As you can see Im doing ok so far, thanks to a great friend named Josh who is my study partner and my very smart wife who is getting us through Pharmocology. I still have a long way to go till we are done and I start in on my boards but i feel if i mantain the 4.0 ill be ok. this leads me to a new Medic question for you all to think about.

Almost done

Hey everyone as the title lead on about, i have 2 chapters in my Anatomy and Physiology to do. After that I have a week off before my classroom portion of Paramedic starts. I am surprised at how much I have learned in the last 3 weeks while taking this online class. That leads me to my next question. This one will be from Cardiology,(which I think is going to be one of my favorite subjects)

I'm Back

So where to start, well I have started classes again and have decided that if I must learn so shall you. Every few days or so I'm going to put up a question or fact that I have learned or found to test your knowledge as well. So today's question has to do with the human body's Chemistry,(ill be nice and at least let you know what kind of question it is)

Fire!

Matt was on a training burn for Bath Township Fire!!! I was able to hang out while the burn was going on to take pictures. I took over 100 pics it was a good time, except it was so hot Matt was able to take a ride as a patient in an ambulance, he suffered a heat stroke, so alot a fluid and some time at the hospital and we were good to go.

Meet Boomer!

This is Boomer! He is a 13 month old Australian Cattle Mix with what they think is a little Terrier in him. He is about 23lbs of all muscle, he loves to play with toys and likes to go for walks/runs. He also is very cuddly the cats are still curious of him but he is already trying to play with them!

My boo boo

I fell down the outside steps this morning due to the fact that they were iced over. I made it to the second step before I went down and my elbow caught the fall. I went to work and opened the pharmacy and then when Urgent care was open, I went in for a few x-rays to see if anything was broken. After talking to the doctor I have a really bad bruise and a possible hairline fracture. So I had today off to relax and then I am able to try to go back to work tomorrow!!! So hopefully everything will heal very fast!!!

Fire Fighter of the Year!

Yea!!!! We are so proud in our house of Matt and the wonderful job that he does for Bath Township Fire Department!!!!! We had the awards banquet the other night, and to much of Matt suprise his name was called!!!!!(I think he deserves it all the time :D) So congrats Matt on all your hard work!!!! I am so proud of you baby!!!!!!

what has been new......?

So I'm sitting home on a rare day off and realized that even tho we have placed pics up, we hadn't let everyone know what life has been like. So I guess this will be a quick recap in the life of the Kidd's, enjoy.

I would like to start off by saying that we for real have the coolest Life Group at Cedar Street,(L.G.27 if you wanted to know) from our Shepard to the other members man they challenge us in ways that blow out minds. They from being with us through the loss of lil kidd, to work issues, and just every day life stuff we are so blessed to have them in our lives. That said we also have an amazing church family, over the last year we have been able to start and in some cases renew friendships. I have been able to plug in with some new very wise men of God and continue to grow, and also plug in with other that are younger in their walk and help them as I have been helped. We now are praying about where we are to serve in our church, weather that's in worship, drama, or just being greeters in the morn. We have decided to do whatever God wants us to do.(and yes for a select few, i am open to the idea of teaching students.Or whatever else God wants, you 2 are dorks and you know who you are:) So pray with Kadee and I about where he would like us be, thanks much for that.

Next Now then what has been up with the Kidd's outside of church......not much. For real we are kinda boring.with my new job and job up in St.Johns I'm doing like 55-70hr over 6 days. So our day for the most part is me getting up before Kadee heading off to work, texting her all day, and then getting home around 9pm or 7am if its a 24 and sleeping. I will say it hasn't been as fun as we thought, I guess Kadee said it best, I just wasn't expecting you to go from 24hrs a week to 70hrs over night, But we will get through it cause we are the best. That's why along with so many other reasons I love her as I do. She is the most supportive person I could have ever asked for. Even tho we have had some hard times(like everyone else) she has always been there for me. She is so the Peanut to my Butter!!!!!:) So other than that we haven't been up to much. LifeNet

This is LifeNet out of Saginaw, they came out to St.Johns a lil under a month ago for a Pediatric Trauma. The Guy in the red is Todd, he is one of our medics at Clinton Area. He is now working out of Lansing with the LifeNet Chopper we have at Sparrow, that chopper is a bit smaller than this on. I hope to have pics of that one soon.

Z is for..........

Z is for, Zebra. I have never seen one in real life, but are sure they are cool none the less. So the question is, are they white with black strips or black with white strips? Good luck I have no idea and am not going to lose any sleep over it.

Y is for

YUM!!!!!!! Who knows what this is?????

X is for....

Xenop!! This is a bird(obviously) that lives in the rainforest, eats insects, and lives in old trees!! :D Interesting fact for the day!!! ENJOY!

W is for..........

W is for Weeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was Kadee after clearing the snow off her parents roof in Clare. I was sad because I had to work when she went up for the day and got to play.

V is for........

As you can see V is for Ventricle. They are the big pumps so to speak in the heart, the left if i remember correct pumps to the whole body(hence it is larger in size than the right.) The right i believe pumps to the lungs for all the exchanges that happen over there. Just a side note the left side is the side more likely to infarct due to the work load it has, (infarct is a med term for a heart attack.) I hope I just said that all right and if not well im only human.

U is for.....

Umbrella!!!! Ok so here is something no one ever knew about me not even my mom or Matt. I LOVE umbrellas.... I think we might own one, I have never bought one to my knowledge....I think they are too expensive but I love all sorts of different shapes and colors!!!! A very cool concept!!

T is for...

T is for Talent, No Talent! When Matt and I first started dating this was a church activity that we did with the youth and a few adults....lol Enough said!

S......

S is for shark. This was taken with our underwater camera as Kadee and I swam in the ocean down in Bermuda. Dude I know i was scared as well.........Yea right this was taken as we watched the shark swim by at the Aquarium on the Island. Got ya!!!!!

R.......

R is for random. When I went to North Carolina for a work trip in '07' Cobb and I went for a walk. We were in the middle of the woods when we found this random street light, how weird.

Q is for...

Quilt!!!!! I did some sewing a while back and decided that I could hand sew a little quilt!!! It was fun and took about two weeks!!! Now I am helping my mom with a few cross stitching projects!!!!

P is for.....

Palm Tree!!!! I loved how big these trees were!!!! So amazing.....I think it might be time for another one.....well hopefully in the next couple years!!!!

O is.......

O is for Ocean....I so love this Pic from Bermuda, the water was clear blue and so very warm. My wife looks hot as well!!!!!!!!!!

N is........

N is for NEW fire gear my fire chief got for me!!!!It has only taken 7 years but, the day is here. My new pants are in my bag cause i didn't want to put my boots on the bed. In the red bag is my new custom Scott Air Mask.

M is for.....

Max!!!!! This is our first cat and he is a BIG lover. We do mean big in two ways, one he is very affectionate, and 2nd his weight is down to 14 1/2 pounds...:D We were lucky enough to have been given him from a friend of mine from high school!!! He's a wonderful addition to our family, Scrapy tolerates him pretty well!!!

L is for....

We LOVE Pinconning Cheese!!!! We always try to make a trip at least once a year to go and get some of our favorite cheese!!! Its hard to find it around this area...if anyone knows of any place that sells it please let us know!!! :)

K is for....

Kiss, Kiss, ok anyone that knows my sister know that she is not a very touchy feely person!!! Thats why I love this pic because she is doing what we normally do when I go to give her a hug or kiss...lol

Since the day was all about Matt and I.... I got what I wanted!!! lol Love you squirt!!!

J is for....

I is for Incredible

This was the view of one of the many sunsets Kadee and I got to see on our honeymoon to the Island of Bermuda. This was out the window we had in our room, what a cool site this was.

H is for....

Hannah!!!! This is our newest addition to the family!!! She is a little peanut that max loves to play with! Sometimes they play nice and sometimes they play a little more rough than normal...ok so its like everyday....but they are gettin along really well and she even likes the dog! She is declawed in the front and this was previously done before we got her as well as fixed! We were lucky enough to find her at the human society when they had a cat sale! We love her!!!

G is for....

This is inside the Grand Ole Opery Hotel!!! Stacie, Miranda, and I all drove back up to Michigan from Florida. Miranda and I flew down to help drive Stacie back up to Michigan!!! It was amazing as we walked through and enjoyed the road trip! I would love to go back!!

F is for....

Friendship.... I think this says Best Friends!!!! Max and Scrapy have gotten along for the most part since they met each other!!! When I see this pic it makes me think that no matter who or what you are there is always a possibility for a friendship no matter whats different about the two of you. God Loves us all no matter what our size, shape, color, ect. Thank goodness for Gods unconditional love!

E is for.....

Elephant!!!! This was one of 5 or 6 towel animals that were created for us on our cruise.... We loved it plus he looks for things in your room to add to the animal, in this case my sun glasses...lol Stay tuned!

This was Max at 8A.M. this morning, behind our washer. We still dont know why or how he got there, but he did and let us know he was stuck.

This was the Boat next to ours when we left for our Honeymoon. It was at least 3 times as big as the ship we were on.
